Features

Built for how you actually work.

Fund Balance Tracking

Every income (dues, event revenue, sponsorships) and expense (venues, printing, catering) recorded. Current balance always visible. No manual calculation required.

Event Budgets

Create a budget per event: Annual Dinner, Tech Fest, Recruitment Drive. Track event-specific expenses against the allocated budget in real time.

Dues Tracking

Log membership dues as income transactions. Tag by member name or batch. See at a glance who has paid and total dues collected vs. expected.

Committee Transparency

All committee members invited as Viewers see the full financial picture — income, expenses, budgets — without being able to modify records. Builds trust. Prevents disputes.

Audit Trail

Every transaction has an immutable record: who added it, when, what changed. Share the audit log with your faculty advisor or university financial office on demand.

Year-End Export

Export all transactions as CSV and the financial summary as PDF. The incoming treasurer gets a complete historical record. Year-end handoff becomes a 5-minute operation.

Common questions

Is Money OS free for student clubs?

Yes. The free tier supports unlimited transactions, budgets, and reports with up to 3 team members (Admin access). Most clubs need 1-2 treasurers in Admin and the committee in Viewer access, which is included.

How do we handle cash collections like event entry fees?

Add a manual income transaction with the amount, date, description ("Annual Fest Entry Fees — 47 participants"), and source category. Attach a note with the head count. The audit log records who entered it.

Can we manage multiple funds or sub-committees separately?

Create a category per sub-committee or fund (Events Fund, General Fund, Sponsorship Reserve). Filter transactions by category to see each fund independently.

What if our university requires financial reports in a specific format?

Export as CSV and reformat in Excel or Google Sheets for any required university template. The raw data from Money OS is clean and complete — reformatting takes minutes.

How do we transition to the next year's treasurer?

Export all historical records. Invite the incoming treasurer as Admin. Transfer ownership in Settings. They inherit the full financial history and workspace with zero data loss.

Free for clubs. Powerful enough for organizations.

No credit card. No trial period. Free forever on the core plan.
