Money OS
Changelog

What's new.

Every release, in plain language. Features and fixes as they ship.

v1.4.0

Budget alerts and CSV auto-mapping

The headline this release is budget alerts. Set a monthly limit on any category and Money OS emails you when you cross 80% and again at 100% — so overspending becomes something you catch in real time instead of discovering at month-end.

CSV import also got smarter: it now remembers how you mapped a given bank’s columns, so the second and every later import from that bank is effectively one click.

New
  • Category budget alerts: get an email at 80% and 100% of any monthly category limit
  • CSV import now remembers column mappings per bank, so repeat imports are one click
  • Per-client expense summaries can be exported as PDF for invoicing
Fixed
  • Fixed timezone drift on transaction dates imported from some banks
  • Reports now correctly exclude archived transactions
v1.3.0

Multi-client tagging and team roles

This release makes Money OS genuinely usable for agencies and teams. Multi-client tagging lets you attach transactions to clients and flag reimbursable costs, and team roles mean you can give your accountant Viewer access without handing over the keys.

Every change is now captured in an immutable audit log — useful for teams and essential for trust.

New
  • Multi-client tagging: attach any transaction to a client and flag it reimbursable
  • Team roles: Admin, Member, and Viewer access levels
  • Audit log records every transaction edit, budget change, and settings update
Fixed
  • Improved search performance on workspaces with 10k+ transactions
  • Fixed CSV export encoding for non-ASCII merchant names
